One file, one person
The person who assembles your package is the person who reads the reviewer’s comments and the person who answers the phone. Nothing is handed to a queue.
Who you are dealing with
DG Precise Permitting & Engineering exists for one reason: the paperwork side of a construction job should not be the thing that decides whether your crew works next week.
Principal
Daniel Guerra
Daniel Guerra leads DG Precise Permitting & Engineering, a Naples-based firm supporting contractors, property owners, and developers with plans, permitting, and project coordination across Southwest Florida.
His work brings together the people and documents a project needs: licensed contractors, design professionals, permit processors, and building departments. From the initial scope and drawing package through review comments, corrections, and closeout, Daniel focuses on keeping responsibilities clear and the next step understood.
Through DG Precise, he coordinates residential and commercial projects, including after-the-fact permitting and code-violation matters. His approach is practical: establish the scope, organize the right documentation, follow up on outstanding items, and communicate clearly when a project needs a decision or additional expertise.
Engineering and other regulated services are provided by the appropriately licensed professionals responsible for that work.
The person who assembles your package is the person who reads the reviewer’s comments and the person who answers the phone. Nothing is handed to a queue.
A package filed a day earlier and returned twice is slower than a package filed a day later and accepted. We optimize for the cycle count, not the submit date.
If a scope needs an engineer, if a site condition adds a review track, if a job is going to be difficult, you hear it at scoping, not at first review.
We do not guarantee approvals or timelines, because we do not control them. We guarantee our own work and we are specific about where the line is.
The legal shape of it
It is worth being precise about this, because it protects you as much as us.
Permits are applied for and issued under your license. We act as your authorized agent on the jurisdiction’s own authorization form, which runs directly from you to us. We prepare and submit; we never sign an application as the applicant, never present ourselves as the contractor, and never use anyone else’s license.
We are also not a building department, a plans examiner, an engineer or an architect. We do not approve permits, we do not judge whether a design meets code, and we do not seal drawings. Where a scope needs a design professional, we will tell you early.
That is how nearly every working relationship here started.
